- Develop and maintain a systematic approach to HSE management designed to ensure compliance with Nigerian Laws and Regulations as well as local and international standards towards continuous performance improvement.
- Demonstrate visible and active leadership that engages employees and manage HSE with clear authorities and accountabilities.
- Conduct activities in a manner designed to minimize HSE risks to a level which is As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP);
- Integrate HSE integrity, social sustainability and economic viability into our business processes.
- Provide employees and contractors with the capabilities, knowledge and resources necessary to instill personal ownership and motivation to achieve HSE excellence.
- Drive improvement by setting targets with adequate resources for performance measurement/appraisal and sustain stakeholders’ consistent support.
- Communicate this policy to all employees and highlight their expected roles in its implementation.
